All p&p prices quoted are for within the United Kingdom. We regret that when ordering by e-mail, no secure channel exists for the processing of credit cards. In line with current e-commerce practice credit card orders must be processed by phone or by fax.

About Us

Joe and Dani Cloutman / T.A. The Sheepskin & Suede Shop located at No. 50, Middle Street, BRIXHAM, Devon, TQ5 8EJ; have owned the present shop since1991; and have been processing mail-order via the internet since 1997.

We are always happy to give you the personal service that ensures the survival of small businesses such as ours in these multi-national times. In many cases specialist products can be made or adapted from existing lines where there is a need. So we welcome your enquiries.

 

Sheepskin Care

Most sheepskin products are washable with care.

The essential rules are:

1. Machine or hand wash in cool (below 35oC) water.

2. Use a natural soap product - NEVER A DETERGENT BASED PRODUCT.

3. Slow air-dry. Do not use any forced heat such as a radiator or tumble-dryer.

 

Terms & Conditions

1.                   Healthcare-sheepskin.co.uk - is a subsidiary of JS. & DM. Cloutman T/A. The Sheepskin & Suede Shop, 50, Middle Street, Brixham, Devon, TQ5 8EJ.

2.                   Definitions in these Terms and Conditions: (“We” “Us” or “The supplier” refers to The Sheepskin & Suede Shop.) (“you” refers to the customer)

3.                   Orders – may be placed by mail; email or telephone.  Due to the variable nature of many of the products on sale, placement of order by telephone is often the most appropriate, and recommended, method.

4.1       Delivery- All goods purchased are dispatched First Class mail, using the most appropriate carrier for the parcel size.

                         4.2       Under normal circumstances we will endeavour to dispatch your goods within one working day of receipt of your order. If there is likely to be any delay, for any reason, we will contact you by mail; email or telephone, to notify you of this.

  4.3  Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, the Supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In the event of failure of delivery we will make every effort (with the assistance of the customer and the carrier) to locate your parcel, and facilitate successful delivery. In the case of failure of this process, the Supplier will give you the option of cancelling your order at this point.

  4.4 If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations the Supplier shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. On exercising your right to cancel you shall be required to return the goods to the Supplier. Should you fail to return the goods, the Supplier reserves the right to deduct any direct costs incurred by the Supplier in retrieving the goods as a result of such failure.

      5.0       Payment – can be accepted by credit/debit card (as displayed on our “About Us” page; or by cheque or postal order.

5.1  Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received and processed.

5.2  You will not be charged until your order has been processed on the day of dispatch.

5.3  Cheques should be made payable to “The Sheepskin & Suede Shop”.

      6.0    Prices – We reserve the right to change the price of goods and postal charges as and when appropriate. You will be charged the amount agreed at the time of acceptance of your order.

      7.0     Cancellations -  You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 10 days after you receive the goods (see below).
7.1 To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Supplier by hand, post or email , giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery

               7.2 Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to the Supplier at your own cost. The goods must be returned to “The Sheepskin & Suede Shop, 50, Middle Street, Brixham, Devon, TQ5 8EJ.  You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods the Supplier shall, after receiving notification from the customer, either collect the goods from you or ask you to return the goods to the Supplier in accordance with the Supplier's Returns procedure (see condition 8 below).

      8.0    Returns – If you have made every effort to ensure that your order will be satisfactory, by phoning us for an accurate description, and you are not satisfied with your product when it arrives, then we will happily accept a return of that product. We will refund you the cost of the goods less the cost of postage, and we request that you bear the cost of return postage.

8.1  Any items that you return to us are at your own risk, therefore we strongly advise all our customers to take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, and carried by a reputable carrier.

      9.0   Governing Law and Jurisdiction - These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
